Casa Adobe Residence

Introducing our first Brick + Linen Home! Nestled in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson Arizona this 1973 Burnt Adobe Territorial underwent a dramatic renovation. Even though the only thing untouched was the exterior walls, front door, and Kiev fireplace, everything looks and feels authentic. An efficient new floor plan fitting to a modern lifestyle that takes in the majestic views of the mountains. The new kitchen, dining, and primary suite overlook the desert terrain and curated landscape. Material selections pay homage to the region with Saltillo tile flooring throughout, hand painted ceramic tile by local artisans, and mesquite wood that highlight each doorway. The painted adobe brick walls add timeless character and pay respect to the history of the structure. Not a detail was overlooked including special attention to the exterior. Layers of paint were sandblasted to expose the adobe brick, metal Bahama shutters that patina in the desert sun add a layer of interest to the new windows. The same metal is used on the custom fence design that disappears into the landscape. Finally, the home was artfully furnished and accessorized with special antique finds, new and vintage art. The finished look is a modern- vintage aesthetic that enhances the homes’ innate beauty, character, and history. This home has true soul inside and out as it was a labor of love of our talented team.
