OVERVIEW

Professional Profile: A Lead Interior Designer serves as a critical bridge between creative design vision and strategic business implementation, managing complex residential and light commercial design projects while collaborating with design teams.

COREĀ  RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, comfortable delegating tasks to maximize project efficiency.
  • Manages entire projects from concept to completion, with ultimate accountability for outcomes
  • Primary point of contact for clients, handling presentations independently
  • Ensure design consistency and quality across multiple projects
  • Participate in pitches, proposals, and building client relationships
  • Guide & mentor junior design team members
  • Adhere to and communicate comprehensive project timelines to clientele
  • Resolve complex design challenges
  • Expertly translate client scope of work into executable design solutions
  • Deep understanding of architectural principles
  • Ability to make final design decisions and has approval authority
  • Advanced knowledge and expertise in material selection and specification for whole house construction finishes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of textiles and furniture construction.
  • Ability to read and understand floorplans and elevations and participate in refining of both.
  • Help facilitate development of new service offerings and a commitment to elevating brand.
  • Foster collaborative work environment
  • Uphold exceptional communication standards with colleagues, studio manager and principal.
REQUIREMENTS + QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
  • 5+ years professional experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design versatility
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced technical and creative problem-solving abilities
